Scaling and polishing
Regular or deep, depending on how much hard deposit has built up and how far below the gumline it sits. If your gums have been bleeding when you brush, this is usually where it stops.
Fluoride and sealants
Fluoride is applied by arch and strengthens the enamel surface. A pit and fissure sealant closes the deep grooves on a back tooth before decay can start in them, which is why it is most useful on a tooth that has just come through.
How often
Twice a year suits most people. If you smoke, are pregnant, are being treated for diabetes, or have had gum treatment before, we will suggest more often and tell you why.

We do not publish prices. What a treatment costs depends on how complex the case is, so you are given the figure for your own treatment at the consultation, before anything begins.
