Extractions

Taking a tooth out is the last option, not the first.

Simple, complex and surgical removals, and wisdom teeth by grade (G1 to G4).

Simple, complex and surgical

A simple extraction lifts out a tooth that is whole and reachable. A complex one deals with a tooth that is broken down or awkwardly rooted. A surgical extraction means raising the gum to reach the tooth, and is planned rather than improvised.

Wisdom teeth

Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out. When one does, the difficulty is graded from G1 to G4 depending on how it is lying and how deep it sits, and we image it first so the roots and the nerve are known before anything starts.

Afterwards

You leave with written instructions and a number to call. Swelling and stiffness for a few days is expected. Pain that is getting worse rather than better is not, and we would rather hear from you early.

What this includes

  • Simple extractions
  • Complex extractions
  • Surgical extractions
  • Wisdom teeth, graded G1 to G4
Book an appointment

We do not publish prices. What a treatment costs depends on how complex the case is, so you are given the figure for your own treatment at the consultation, before anything begins.
