Dentures

Replacing a full arch, or filling the gaps in one.

Complete and partial removable dentures in several materials, plus relining.

Complete dentures

A full upper or lower arch, made in a choice of materials that differ in weight, strength and how they are finished. We go through what each one means in the mouth rather than on paper.

Partial dentures

Where some natural teeth remain, a partial denture fills the gaps and rests on the teeth that are left. A cast partial has a metal framework and is thinner and firmer; a removable partial is lighter and simpler.

Relining

The ridge under a denture changes shape over the years, and a denture that fitted when it was made will eventually rock. Relining refits the existing denture to the ridge as it is now, which is usually quicker than replacing it.

What this includes

  • Complete dentures in several materials
  • Cast partial dentures
  • Removable partial dentures
  • Relining an existing denture
